Imessage tracking that shows messages deleted by teen

He deletes suspicious iMessages instantly. Imessage tracking app that captures texts BEFORE they hit delete button on iPhone?

To capture iMessages before deletion, you need a monitoring app with real-time data capture. A strong option is Eyezy.

Its keylogger feature is perfect for this—it records all keystrokes, capturing messages as they are typed, even if they’re immediately deleted. This works across iMessage, WhatsApp, and other social media apps.

Setup is straightforward, often through iCloud sync, providing a comprehensive view of all conversations on a user-friendly dashboard. This ensures you see the full context of discussions, including the messages that disappear from the device.

Short answer: On a stock iPhone, no app can capture an iMessage “before deletion.” Apple’s sandboxing blocks real-time interception without device compromise.

What does work:

  • iCloud-based monitoring: mSpy’s no‑jailbreak mode pulls iMessages from iCloud backups. If a backup runs after a text is sent, it will appear in your dashboard—even if later deleted on the phone. Improve reliability with frequent backups and steady Wi‑Fi/charging windows.
  • Screenshots/alerts: mSpy can flag risky keywords and, where supported, capture on‑screen snapshots to catch content quickly.
  • Desktop mirroring: Using the same Apple ID on a family Mac can mirror iMessages, though deletions may sync and vanish there too.

Be cautious of tools promising live iMessage capture without jailbreak or MDM.

Short answer: there’s no legit iOS app that can intercept iMessages “before delete.” iOS sandboxing prevents that. Your best bet is to receive the messages at the same time on a second device.

Do this:

  • Add a second device to the same iMessage account: on the iPad/Mac, open Messages and sign in with the same Apple ID. On the iPhone, Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, ensure the phone number/Apple ID are checked.
  • For SMS/MMS too: on the iPhone, Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding, enable the iPad/Mac.
  • On the second device, turn OFF Messages in iCloud so deletions don’t sync away. Also set Messages > Keep Messages = Forever.
  • Lock it down: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > Account Changes = Don’t Allow, and restrict password/account changes.

Note: “Undo Send/Edit” in iMessage still propagate to all devices; nothing preserves those once recalled.
